Dry Ice Blasting Services
Cleaning without a mess!
Recoveron can help make your equipment and machinery shine again! We can do this by reducing costly downtime by cleaning your cinder black walls, concrete floors, machinery or equipment in place (CIP).
Dry Ice Blasting for Cleaning
Also referred to as CO2 Blasting
Dry ice blasting is a remarkable process that has revolutionized industrial cleaning maintenance. Dry Ice Blasting (also referred to as CO2 blasting) is similar to sand or soda blasting, where a medium is accelerated in a pressurized air stream to impact the surface to be cleaned or prepared. But that is where the similarity ends. Instead of using a hard, abrasive medium to grind on the surface, dry ice blasting uses soft dry ice, making it completely non-abrasive.
One unique aspect of using dry ice particles as a blast medium is that the particles vaporize upon impact with the surface. That means no secondary waste, as in other forms of blasting. Dry ice blasting is non-flammable and non-conductive, and since there are no secondary contaminants, it is non-toxic and environmentally friendly. As a result, dry ice blasting provides a more thorough, higher quality, and cost-effective cleaning.
Dry ice blasting allows most items to be cleaned in place (CIP). Cleaning in place, combined with Recoveron Industrial’s unique negative air draw containment solution, eliminates the need for time-consuming disassembly, shutting down surrounding equipment, or moving inventory items.
Less time, less water, and less waste mean more production and profit!
No Waste Products
Fast and Effective Cleaning!
Since the dry ice pellets consist of CO2, they vaporize on contact with the surface. Our system yields no waste products such as sand, solvents, acids, and other cleaning solvents.
Reduce Costs
Save money by using our Dry Ice Blasting process!
Our dry ice blasting process is entirely non-toxic. No hazardous chemicals are used, and the costs associated with the disposal of blasting materials and solvents are extensively decreased. Additional savings can be found with a decrease in downtime and an increase in cleanliness. Your equipment can be cleaned-in-place without disassembly or the need to cool down due to our non-conductive cleaning process.
