Overhead areas are the part of a facility that almost never gets cleaned, for an understandable reason: reaching them safely is a specialist job. Ceilings, walls, structural steel, ductwork and pipe runs sit above everything else in the building, which means anything that collects up there eventually comes down onto production below.
Out of sight, not out of the process
Overhead structures need cleaning regularly to prevent contamination of a facility’s personnel, production equipment and products. In a food plant that is an audit issue. In a manufacturing plant it is a quality issue. In any plant it is a safety issue, because dust on overhead steel is the dust most likely to end up airborne.
The problem is that these surfaces are the ones most easily overlooked, and the buildup is often only noticed once it has become a problem in its own right.
Trained, certified and equipped
Our cleaning technicians are certified to work in high, hard-to-reach places, and we equip them with the proper tools to complete the work safely and correctly. That includes the access equipment to reach a 30-foot ceiling and the containment to stop what comes off the beams from landing on what is below.
We follow Good Manufacturing Practices so that our work helps our clients comply with the guidelines they are held to, rather than creating a new problem for them to explain to an auditor.
Around your schedule
We can clean with little to no interruption so your company can keep producing. Whether you run a food processing plant, a manufacturing plant or a foundry, the aim is the same: minimize downtime while the work gets done properly.
